Windows has been around for about 40 years, surely many will remember XP, but have you ever tried windows 98? Well, you can do it right in your browser by logging into 98. js.org.
The experience is complete, there are programs like Winamp, and notepad. There is no shortage of games such as the iconic Minesweeper, Solitaire and Pinball. There is also the option to change the system theme as well.
But the thing that surprise me most was web browsing, obviously with Internet Explorer but every site you visit will be loaded in the 1998 version. There is a link to the Internet Archive so the pages are retrieved from there. What can I say, a total immersion in the past!
